Hook and Ladder Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
The long, cool growing season of the Russian
River Valley, so highly regarded by Sonoma County grape growers,
yields olives with the intense, ripe flavors that produced
our Hook and Ladder Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.
Sourced by Cecil and Christine De Loach
from their mature Mission trees planted in the early 1900's
and supported by additional plantings of Coratina, Frantoio,
Leccino, Pendolino and Manzanillo varieties, the master blend
produced a richly flavored and beautifully colored Extra-Virgin
Olive Oil.
Our estate crop was carefully hand picked
at the peak of ripeness in November. The olives
were stone crushed; utilizing only the first cold press of
the oil.
The resulting unfiltered oil, delicate yet
expansive on the palate, blossoms when drizzled on grilled
rustic breads and vegetables and promises a flavor enhancing
addition to pastas, insalata caprese and your finest homemade
salad dressings.
